Details

The compact wallet "Airmy" was designed with inspiration from "tato paper" used to wrap and preserve kimonos. The emblem attached to the front is a delicate marquetry woodwork that gives the impression of carving. The leather material is made of Awa indigo from Tokushima Prefecture, which is a nationally designated intangible cultural property and is produced using a traditional method that has been continued for about 600 years, and is dyed in Kyoto using a method called natural lye-based indigo dyeing, which is rare in the world.
