Midori Ozaki's novel "Walking"
The "Ohagi" mini bag series was inspired by the novel "Walking" published in 1931 by the early Showa era author Midori Ozaki. In the novel, the protagonist, a young girl, is asked by her grandmother to walk through the twilight city to deliver some ohagi rice dumplings to her relatives' houses.

Disjointed and odd.
Machiko has withdrawn into her attic due to love troubles. But her grandmother doesn't know why. She mistakenly believes that her granddaughter is suffering from nervous fatigue caused by lack of exercise, and decides to cheer her up by sending her off to the Matsuki household with a huge amount of ohagi. Her grandmother wants her to eat something sweet to soothe her nervous fatigue. Machiko wanders around aimlessly, feeling as if possessed by a gloomy bug. A mysterious story woven together by a cast of mismatched and eccentric characters.

《Ohagi》MINI TOTE
"Ohagi" was born as a mini tote bag inspired by the scene where the main character, Machiko, walks at dusk with rice balls in her hands. While Machiko is running an errand at dusk, her consciousness suddenly wanders off into a faraway fantasy world, a "walk of consciousness." Let's enjoy a dreamlike outing together.

OXFORD CANVAS
The Oxford canvas used is a specially woven Oxford fabric used for high-quality shirts, which is used as a thick bag material. By using this material to make the bag, it gives a high-quality softness and feel to the touch.

FINE COUTURE
Ohagi's tailoring is infused with the spirit of a couture studio. The unique tailoring techniques, which were developed by applying suit tailoring techniques to bags, have succeeded in bringing beautiful flexibility to casual fabric bags. The bags are made with a three-layered fabric structure, which provides a certain degree of heat retention, making them ideal for carrying things like ohagi.
